I've been a wedding planner since January 2017, however I've been managing and executing projects in the corporate world for over 8 years now. I have a master business license that allows my company to conduct business in Canada, as well I am insured for any liabilities or issues that may arise.
Yes! I am certified through most comprehensive and respected Wedding Planning Institute of Canada for both Wedding Planning & Coordination and Destination Wedding Planning & Coordination.
As a Certified Wedding Planner, we are held to the highest standard of conduct.
- We do not accept kickbacks (money for referrals) from vendors. Vendors must know that the clients are the recipients of any discounts given.
- We treat each client fairly, and we will be honest and upfront in the representation of our clients.
- We uphold our ethics. We will not take or attempt to take clients from, or discredit, other vendors with gossip or slander.
- Every client will receive a detailed contract for Wedding Day Direction, Destination or Full Wedding Coordination services.
- We will provide all services agreed upon in the contract that must be signed by both the client and Coordinator at the commencement of service.
- We believe in continuous education, networking and training within the Wedding Industry.
- Our pricing is upfront.
- We always endeavor to benefit our client and not ourselves. Vendors are suggested on merit, in the best interests of the client, not ourselves or the vendor suggested.
- We can not guarantee your wedding will be perfect, but we can guarantee we will do everything within our power to make sure it is as close to perfection as it can be.
Our most popular package is the Day/Month-Of Wedding Planning Coordination service. In this day and age with technology, many couples know how to find their own vendors for their wedding. It is up until 4-6 weeks prior to their wedding day is when they need someone to take over the reigns to be the main point of contact for their family and friends, venue and hired vendors. To keep everyone on time and to mitigate any issues that arise. Couples are aware that they can’t be in the spotlight and enjoy their big day, while trying to manage their wedding in the backend.
However, I do have clients who opt for the Full Wedding Planning as they are busy professionals who needs a Wedding Planner to do all the legwork and funnels all communication with the potential venue and vendors.
If you're unsure as to which package to proceed with, let's chat over a virtual coffee meet up to get an understanding of your wedding day and what you need help with in the planning process. No obligations, we're here to help!
Yes! If you’ve hired us for full wedding planning service, you will receive a wedding budget template that will help you stay on budget. The spreadsheet will also provide a breakdown for each category to ensure that you are over your budget when securing a particular vendor.
If due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to complete work for your wedding, a comparable wedding planner will be assigned by Karin Wu & Co. suggested from WPIC Alumni, Wedding Planning Institute of Canada for Certified Wedding Planners. The new wedding planner will be provided a full hand-off and rundown of your wedding day to ensure that no details are missed.

In the event that you want to cancel before your wedding for any reason (including acts of God, fire, strike, illness or injury, extreme weather), a part of the initial retainer is non-refundable. Cancellations must be made in writing, signed by the contracted party and sent via Certified Mail by Canada Post to our mailing address.
